This is the first video of ooamerica part 2 – a re-intro focused on the theme: “What’s your philosophy?” Driving through New Jersey to the Welding Room radio studios, then whizzing by Philadelphia. Music by Jay Nada.
Next chapter will be Washington DC and Virginia – some politics and history there…
Thanks again to Rik Johnson and all the people we’re meeting!
Please help us share ooamerica and facebook.com/ooamerica – now facebook.com/ooaworld!
We’ll do our best from now on to use audio creations produced ‘in-house’ by our friends and team. Diversity is the key, contributions and ideas are welcome!
Stay tuned for Photos, Diaries, Videos and more! Thanks to all!
I think this entire thing is very fun to watch, I look forward to all of it. The only thing I might mention and this is probably just me, … I am having such a hard time making heads or tails out of this site.
Unfortunately for me it is not ‘clear’ where I start and travel with you. I am sure after I spend a few hours here it will all make sense, but I want to share this trip of yours..maybe a timeline..like HEY TS click here FIRST..that way I know which order to share what.. lol.. Hope this project is very successful !! ~technospunky
Hi TS, first, thank you for the reblog! we need all the help we can get to share the project now that the kickstarter campaign has been launched.
As for your comment about navigation, it’s not just you! I have been wishing to redesign the blog and include features such as timeline and map-navigation for a very long time (and I would love to have them!), but have not yet had the resources to seek out developers. I’m hoping this can be done towards the end of this second leg of the trip – or earlier if anybody out there can help out.
For the time being, there are several ‘difficult’ ways to navigate through time / space: the space-time tag cloud in the right column features states and months which bring to a page with posts related to those locations / time periods. The ‘road-book’ menu up top – which should be updated for part 2 – does the same in a more general manner. And it’s possible to browse posts by media type (video, photos, diary) although again, it’s far from ideal or ‘flashy’, but have to work with that for now!
Thank you again and hope to make it better soon!
Awesome, Keep on going full steam- the good stuff will come. Happy to share where I can.
Reblogged this on Technospunky blah blah blogging on wordpress and commented:
FUN TO FOLLOW along!..
My number 1 rule in life is; Never repeat your mistakes.
Thanks! I agree! I’m thinking of opening part of the site to readers’ own philosophies – only the first step to a larger scope project. Stay tuned…
Enjoyed this. Nice to see you’re coming through my neck of the woods. Look forward to future posts!
Hi Jill! Thanks for your support! (hey I noticed you enjoy flying with your family – have my PPL but haven’t had the chance recently, hopefully soon, would be some nice shots!)
That’s great! I’d love to take lessons someday myself. We Just flew from Martinsburg, WV to South Jersey yesterday. WINDY!! 😀 Hope you’re having a great day wherever you are today!
